Bookmarks are a personal save feature that lets Members and Admins keep posts, comments, content, events, and Ask AI conversations in one place for quick reference later.

Overview

Bookmarks help Members stay organized and productive inside your Academy. Anything a Member bookmarks is saved to a dedicated area in the sidebar, making it easy to return to important activities, events, and resources without searching for them again. This drives Members back into the Academy and keeps high-value content within reach.

What you can bookmark

Members and Admins can bookmark the following object types in Disco:
  • Content
  • Posts
  • Comments
  • Events
  • Ask AI conversations

Save a bookmark

Use the bookmark icon on any supported object to save it.
  1. Open the post, comment, content, event, or Ask AI conversation you want to save.
  2. Click the bookmark icon in the top right of the header.
  3. The object is instantly added to your saved bookmarks.
To remove a bookmark, click the bookmark icon a second time on the same object.

Find your bookmarks

Your bookmarks live in a dedicated area of the left global navigation.
  1. Click the bookmark icon (labeled Saved) in the left side of global navigation.
  2. Review the full list of everything you have bookmarked.

Filter bookmarks by type

Once you open your bookmarks, you can narrow the list by object type.
  1. Open Saved from the left global navigation.
  2. Click the tab for the type you want to view: Content, Posts, Comments, Events, or Ask AI.
  3. The list updates to show only bookmarks of that type.
POV Encourage Members to bookmark the first event they register for, the first piece of content that sparks an idea, and any Ask AI conversation they want to revisit. A short habit of bookmarking early sets up a personal library that pulls Members back into the Academy week after week.

FAQ

What happens when an Admin deletes a bookmarked object? If the underlying content, post, comment, or event is deleted, the bookmark is removed from your saved list. Can I bookmark Members or direct messages? No. Bookmarking is not supported for Member profiles or messages today. This is on the roadmap for future consideration. Where do I find my bookmarks on mobile? On the Disco mobile app, bookmarks are accessed through the More menu alongside your profile, events, and settings. Do bookmarks contribute to engagement scores or the leaderboard? Yes. Bookmarking an item contributes to a Member’s engagement score in the gamification system. Repeatedly bookmarking and unbookmarking the same object can inflate points, which is a known limitation the product team has logged for a future fix. Can other Members see what I have bookmarked? No. Bookmarks are private to the individual who saved them. Admins cannot view another Member’s bookmark list. Can I bookmark an entire Program or module? Not directly. You can bookmark individual content items, posts, comments, events, and Ask AI conversations, but Programs and modules are not bookmarkable objects.
