# FAQ

Answers to common questions about Disco: getting started, building Programs, managing Members, running events, billing, and how the platform works.

## Getting Started

    Disco is an AI-powered learning platform that lets you build, run, and grow online learning communities. You can sell cohort courses, self-paced programs, and memberships, all in one branded Academy.

    isco is built for instructional designers, coaches, professional associations, bootcamps, and organizations that want to combine structured learning with a connected community. You do not need a technical background to get started.

  <Accordion title="What can I build with Disco?">
    You can build cohort-based courses, self-paced programs, membership communities, and live event series. Most operators combine these into a single Academy where Members learn, connect, and engage over time.

  <Accordion title="Is Disco a course platform or a community platform?">
    It's both. Disco is built on the idea that learning happens in community and that people learn best together. Programs give members a structured path, and Chat spaces and Events give them the relationships and accountability that make content stick.

## Learning Programs & Content

  <Accordion title="Can I run multiple Programs in one Academy?">
    Yes. You can create as many Programs as you need inside a single Academy. Members can be enrolled in one or several at a time, and you control access to each Program independently.

  <Accordion title="Do members need a separate login for each Program?">
    No. Members have one account per Academy. Once they're a Member, they access all Programs they're enrolled in from the same login.

  <Accordion title="What types of content can I add to a Program?">
    You can add videos, text lessons, PDFs, embedded links, quizzes, assignments, and SCORM packages. Lessons can be combined into modules, and modules are grouped into Programs.

  <Accordion title="Can I copy lessons or modules from one Program to another?">
    Yes. Content is re-usable and you may add new instances of the same content from one program to another. The content itself remains the same, but you can tailor the settings to the individual Program. You can also duplicate content to another Program.

  <Accordion title="Can I embed external video?">
    Yes. Copy the embed URL or share link from Zoom, Vimeo, YouTube, or other video hosts and paste it into the embed section of your Featured Media on Content.

## Members & Access

  <Accordion title="How do I invite Members to my Academy?">
    Go to **Members** in your Admin sidebar and click **Invite Members**. Enter email addresses individually or upload a CSV. Each invitee receives an email with a link to set up their account.

  <Accordion title="A Member says they never received their invite. What should I do?">
    sk them to check their spam or junk folder first. If the invite is not there, go to **Members**, find the person, and resend the invite directly from their profile. You can also copy the invite link and send it manually via email if the automated invite continues to fail.

  <Accordion title="Can I control who sees what inside my Academy?">
    Yes. Visibility settings at both the Academy and Program level let you control what members can access. You can restrict Spaces and content to specific member groups or enrollment status.

## Managing Your Academy

  <Accordion title="Is Disco fully white-labeled?">
    Disco supports custom domains, emails and full brand customization. Disco's name and logo do not appear on the Member-facing experience when a custom domain is active. We also have Custom Mobile Apps available on Enterprise plans.

  <Accordion title="What integrations does Disco support?">
    Disco integrates natively with Stripe for payments, Zoom for live sessions, Slack for community and Zapier for custom automation. Additional integrations are available through the **Integrations** section of your Admin settings.

  <Accordion title="Can I migrate content from another platform into Disco?">
    Disco does not have a one-click import tool for content or members from other platforms. You can manually add content within Disco or upload SCORM packages exported from other LMS tools. For large migrations, contact the Disco team to discuss your options.

## Billing and Plans

  <Accordion title="How is Disco priced?">
    Disco offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Pricing is based on your Academy tier and includes Member limits and feature access. Visit[ <u>disco.co/pricing</u>](https://disco.co/pricing) for current plan details.

  <Accordion title="Do you offer a discount for annual billing?">
    Yes. Annual subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate compared to monthly billing. The discount is shown during checkout when you select the annual option.

  <Accordion title="What happens if a payment fails?">
    Disco will notify you by email when a payment fails. Accounts are typically paused after 21 days of non-payment. To resolve this, update your payment method in **Settings** and pay the outstanding invoice directly through the link provided in the billing email.

## Security and Data

    Yes. Disco is SOC II type 1 compliant and is currently working on type 2.

  <Accordion title="Who owns the content and data in my Academy?">
    You do. Content you create and data collected within your Academy belongs to you as the operator.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I get support?">
    Reach the Disco support team. The Help Center is available 24/7 for self-service guidance.
